The Arai Quantum 2 features a round-oval fit. The Brow Vent Faceshield Ventilation System featured in the Arai Quantum2 provides cooling air in the upper face area without holes in the critical forehead area of the shell or in the impact-absorbing liner material. Optically correct pre-formed faceshields in the Arai Quantum 2 provide better vision and UV ray protection with less distortion. Also a feature of the Arai Quantum2 is a De-Mist Lock faceshield with a tab that pushes forward to open the shield slightly and helps clear fogging. The Arai Quantum 2 shell incorporates a smaller gap between shield and shell to reduce wind noise and the same breathguard as is found in the Arai RX-7 Corsair. The Arai Quantum2 features Super Complex Laminate Construction (Super CLC): a redesigned aerodynamic shape with molded details to add character, increase shell strength and enhance the performance of the upgraded side exhaust vents. The Arai Quantum 2 also features a chin spoiler and a top mounted vent design recessed into the shell for a cleaner look. The interior liner of the Arai Quantum2 is fully removable and washable and includes the same cheek pads as found in the RX-7.
